Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to visit southern California on a business trip. In our off-time we were able to visit the local area and plan a trip to visit the Sequoia National Park and do a bit of GeoCaching.
Even though this was the May time frame, all the passes we found through the southern Sierra Nevada mountain ranges were still closed due to snow. With the passes closed, we decided to head over to Red Rock Canyon State Park.

I received a response from Rory McManus the original creator of StormSiren. He’s decided to turn over the project to me and give me access to the SourceForge site.

I’ve spent several hours today documenting the development and progress that StormXmlSiren has made to date. Hopefully it is sufficient to allow others to experiment.
